Bleed radiators regularly to remove trapped air, insulate exposed pipes, and lower the thermostat by a few degrees to reduce energy consumption while maintaining comfort.
Set the thermostat to at least 12°C (54°F) when away, insulate pipes, and consider a frost protection setting if your boiler has one.
Locate the filling loop, open valves until pressure reaches 1–1.5 bar, then close.
120°F (49°C) is the recommended maximum temperature. Consider installing anti-scald devices on faucets for additional protection.
